Fitness myths abound, but some of the most believable and hard to overcome are the ever-present myths that the fitness media constantly portrays.
The myths are so subliminal that it’s easy to take these as absolute truth, even though our expectations of a given diet or workout are hardly ever met.
The usual consequence is to blame ourselves or the program for “not working” when in fact everything in fitness works perfectly well. We’ve just fallen for a series of myths about how we think fitness is supposed to work rather than how it actually does.
