Leverage is one of the most powerful ways you can advance your bodyweight training. It can instantly load very high amounts of resistance on your muscles while keeping joint stress to a minimum.

The front lever is a great example of using leverage to work your back muscles to their limit.

The best thing about using leverage is you can adjust the tension on the fly. You don’t need to stop a set or adjust equipment to change your resistance. Just extending or retracting the length of your arm or leg and you’re using a different level of resistance.
