Build Muscle with The 30SR Workout

Its always the simplest workouts that build the most muscle.

Case in point is this new little gem I’m falling in love with. Here’s how it works:

– Select an exercise that’s basic and strength based like push ups or pull ups.

– Do one set for as many reps as you can.

– At the end of the set rest for 30 seconds. You can use a stop watch but I find a clock with a sweep second hand works best.

– After 30 seconds do your second set for as much as possible once again.

Repeat for 4-5 sets.

Your goal is to try and match the number of reps from the set before.  I know it doesn’t sound like much. Using timed rest periods is nothing new, but adding the timed rest to working until failure is a unique combination that’s sure to boost your workout to a new level.
