When I’m asked why I don’t practice vegetarianism, paleo, organic, localism, or any other sort of diet style I simply say that I don’t want to handicap myself.
I know a lot of folks consider such diets a step forwards, and they often are, but there is another level to healthy eating that goes above and beyond what such diets can offer you. I like to call it Dietary transcendence where you advance your skills beyond what the diet books offer. It’s a step above which offers more flexibility, more freedom and much better results.
