Easy is good.

I know that’s not what you usually hear when it comes to weight loss, but it’s true. You don’t get results by working your tail off. You get results by how productive you are, and the best way to do that is to make things easier.

Of course, anything worth having in life is going to take hard work, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to lose more fat through making things harder on yourself. If anything, taking the higher and harder road will only slow you down and jeopardize your ability to lose weight.

It’s not just your ability to lose fat that’s at stake here. Lots of people can lose weight, but keeping it off is another thing altogether. Much of the failure to keep weight off also stems from making things too difficult. Many people can endure a harsh diet or workout program for a short time, but the only way you’ll successfully keep the weight off is to make things easier on yourself.
