Few things prevent you from controlling your weight, health, and diet like the binge/purge cycle. One minute you feel like you’re in control and “being good” and then next you’re losing that control on a binge. You then resolve to undo the “damage” and get back on track and the whole cycle starts all over again.
The irony is each phase of the cycle can momentarily fool you into believing you’re taking back control and doing what’s best. But you’re not in control, with each swing from one side to the other, you lose more stability like someone standing up in a canoe.
So today I share my own experience with breaking out of the cycle and how you can take back control once and for all.
