
Frustration and disappointment abound within our fitness culture. We all start with certain beliefs and expectations, and almost none of these are ever met.
It’s always tempting to either quit or take massive action, like adopting extreme measures (I’m going t do 1,000 push-ups a day and eat only kale salads), but these seldom work in our favor.
So let me propose a different approach. Diet and exercise always work perfectly well 100% of the time. It’s just that we humans often expect the laws of Mother Nature to work in a certain way outside of reality.
So this week’s episode of the RDP podcast is all about getting real about what dit and exercise ca and cannot do. Becuase few things can make fitness more rewarding and effective like aligning your expectations with what really can happen.
