You’re only as strong as your hands and wrists. If your hands and wrists are weak or stiff in these areas it’s going to severly compromise your training.
Of course, people look for shortcuts. They wear wrist wraps when doing pull ups, and handles when doing push ups and hand stands. These things are nothing more than a Band Aid and a crutch to hide the weakness that’s holding you back. And
make no mistake about it, those wraps and handles will hold you back.
