
I’ve long struggled to find some sort of a workout/life balance.
Check that, I never wanted any such balance; I just wanted to make diet and exercise the most important part of my life, and pesky things like friends, family, and school just always seemed to get in the way.
I just figured the best way to get in shape was to work as hard as possible and any sacrifices I made in other areas of my life were proof that I was hardcore and dedicated.
So yea, suffice to say I wasn’t really interested in any so-called workout/life balance.
I eventually learned that there’s more to life than just tracking Marcos and spending time in the gym. A lot more in fact, and as I wanted more of a “normal life” I had to figure out how to make fitness work in balance with all of that other stuff.
It took a while, but I eventually figured it all out and I will share my lessons here in this week’s episode of the RDP podcast.
