I only knew Mark for a few months back when I was just getting starting my career as a fitness coach. At the time, I was all about the typical bench-and-biceps style training, and I probably couldn’t even spell the word calisthenics.
Mark stood out, even when the gym was packed with people. It wasn’t just because he looked like a professional bodybuilder from the waist up, but also because of his routine.
Back in the day of Bosu Balls and “functional training” Mark had a very simple routine of only three exercises; Dips, Pull-ups, and close push-ups on a slight decline.
But it wasn’t just what he did, but how he did those three exercises that continue to inspire me to this day.
