My name is Matt Schifferle and I’m a personal trainer, PCC Team Leader, and reformed fitness junkie. I created the Red Delta Project because I believe modern fitness should be much easier than it currently is. It should also be a lot simpler, cheaper and much more convenient as well. Not just because these attributes make fitness more enjoyable, but because they also make it much more effective as well.
I didn’t always believe staying in shape could be simple and easy. If anything, I believed that diet and exercise were about sacrifice, hardship, and deprivation. This approach worked well enough for a while, but it left me physically and mentally burned out by the time I was 30.
My frustrations lead me to ponder why staying in shape was so difficult and I’ve been discovering ways to make it easier for over 15 years. in 2009 I started documenting my findings in my videos, podcasts and blog reports on this website. I cover 3 primary topics including ways to simplify confusing fitness rules, effective bodyweight training, and healthy eating. All three are a part of my plan to help make fitness simpler, easier and more effective for you. They also make diet and exercise habits a lot less stressful so they can enhance your quality of life rather than compromise it.
