I’ve just read a great book called Drive by Daniel H. Pink.

In it, Daniel questions the idea that we humans are motivated purely by the simple desire to receive rewards or avoid punishments. He contends that there’s a third source of human motivation. Something that’s potentially far more powerful than just working to earn a reward or to avoid a pain.

He even proposes the old idea of trying to motivate ourselves through rewards or punishments may backfire and cause us to become unmotivated!

This book was a real eye opener for me and I give you the whole run down in this week’s podcast.
