Take your rest period for example. If you want to improve endurance, build muscle or gain a mental edge altering the amount of rest between your workouts can be just the ticket. Just through adjusting the amount of time you rest, you can make your workout more effective even if your actual workload doesn’t change.
If nothing else just knowing your rest periods are consistent can be a real game changer.
