I used to believe that getting in shape was a simple and straight forward affair. You just eat the right foods and do the right exercises and presto! You can make your health and fitness dreams come true.
It’s a nice idea, but it doesn’t mix well with reality. The truth is, lots of people do “everything right” and still struggle to get results. In fact, that’s more the norm and almost any measure of significant and lasting results are sadly the exception.
