Intuitive training is adapting your workouts to best fit your circumstances. Instead of following a dogmatic training formula, you can adjust anything about the workout as you see fit.
But intuitive training doesn’t mean doing whatever you feel like. It’s all about making disciplined choices to get the best possible results while managing stress on your mind, body, and lifestyle.
There are only three key principles to practice with intuitive training. The first is to define your training objective clearly. That way you know what you’re trying to accomplish in each workout.
The second principle is to use whatever resources you have on hand to accomplish that objective. Don’t cram an hour-long workout in a 30-minute lunch break. Fit your plan into whatever time, energy, and equipment you have to make it work.
And the last principle is to assess and adjust your workouts according to your feedback. That way you improve your ability to train effectively.
